MINIGRAPH consortium reviews advances and future priorities at General Assembly in Zurich
10–11 April 2025, Zurich (Switzerland)
The MINIGRAPH General Assembly held in Zurich on 10–11 April 2025 brought the consortium together at a critical phase of the project, with increasing focus on system integration and validation. Hosted by ETH Zürich, the meeting benefited from the institution’s strong engineering and robotics environment, highly aligned with MINIGRAPH’s minimally invasive implantation ambitions.
Across the technical sessions, partners shared progress on integrating graphene‑based electrodes, electronics, and implantation approaches, alongside updates on ongoing preclinical activities. Discussions emphasised consistency between experimental results, device design choices, and long‑term project objectives.
A dedicated lab tour and demo complemented the agenda, enabling hands‑on alignment around implementation and testing workflows. The lab tour included a live demo of the robotic system, supporting shared understanding of current capabilities and the remaining integration steps.
In addition to technical sessions, the consortium addressed cross‑cutting topics such as data interpretation, reporting strategy, and coordination between work packages, supporting a common view of scope and alignment with the Grant Agreement. The Zurich General Assembly highlighted the strength of MINIGRAPH’s multidisciplinary collaboration and reaffirmed collective commitment to advancing innovative neuroelectronic solutions for brain disorders.
